We expect our family to be spread around the world this Christmas, therefore the early communication. Also, we have a new address- about 2 miles east and uphill from Our Road, so we want to provide you an opportunity to update the contact information.
TRIPS: Elle and Bob are planning a return medical Mission to the Thai-Burma border-having just visited for Spring Break bringing glasses- this time we hope to bring cataract surgery. Koni will be returning to the midwest to visit relatives and her mom. Andrew is actively skiing in meets with his University of Alaska-Fairbanks team.
HOME: We found a nice home with a view this summer and were blessed with prompt sale of the other house and help with the move by Andrew before he returned to sophomore year of college in Fairbanks.
VISITS: We were able to visit grandparents and relatives in Wisconsin and Washington. Missionary friends from Asia and rural Alaska stayed with us and challenged us to live as if each week was our last.
MOVING ON: Andrew has been traveling to places like Hawaii, Minnesota and Calgary with running and skiing. Elle, collector of some gold in cross-country, skiing and track, enjoys Seward- partly because of the Mt. Marathon race there. Koni moved on with a special birthday and family reunion. Bob hiked local mountains with the dog Kit, and hopes to move to better electronic medical records.
THANKS: We are thankful to God for friends like you who keep in touch and who pray for our family. God Bless in 2012.
